I woke up this morning, the same as most, with the knowledge that I would only have about 15 mins to get myself up, showered and dress, before I would have to drive my daughter to school. Now, it really doesn't take that much time to get ready to just drop her off, but I want just enough time to check my emails, drop her off, and go back to sleep for about another hour.
This has been my schedule for the past month. What I didn't plan for was that I seemed to just not have the same amount of energy as I did over the summer or last year. Puzzled, I started going over my past routines. There was something that I had cut out, that I think I should have kept in.
Have any of your heard about the 15-Minute Miracle? We, I first found this workbook while I was in Atlanta. The funny this is, the author of this book and workbook lives in Los Gatos. This tickled me so much I actually got in contact with her, just to share my experiences and ask her if her program could assist me in learning how to clam my mind and have more peace in my life.
She is a wonderful person, and I am still planing to take a few workshops with her. But as I started to get more involved with my daughter's last year of high school, I cut out my morning writing exercises that I do with my workbook. Not a good idea.
Now, I am more tired than I would ever like to be, and I don't get as many of my own projects done as I had when I had my past routine.
With that said, what do you think I will be doing tomorrow morning? If you find areas in your life that you would like to change or see improve, then by all means improve them. The only one responsible for your life is you.
